That's how far we rode today on the Silver Comet Trail. Not bad for someone who hasn't owned a bike in at least 10 years. :)
My brother, Andy, and a helpful guy at Dick's Sporting Goods assisted me in picking out a delightful yellow hybrid bicycle that can easily be converted to a road bike, if I so desire. At this point, I don't. It's a great ride. The seat is comfortable; the gears are easy to shift; and the bike is so light weight, it will be a cinch to lift it up and into the back of the truck.
Triathlon, here I come.
